Kupid AI Privacy Policy

Last updated July 22, 2026

1. Scope of this policy

This policy explains how Kupid AI handles information when you visit the website, contact the team, adjust character preferences, or use any account, conversation, memory, or media feature that becomes available. Some parts of the website may operate as a product preview. Features that are not active do not collect the information described for those features.

2. Adults only

Kupid AI is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a person under 18 has provided information to Kupid AI, contact us so the request can be reviewed and the information deleted where appropriate.

3. Information you choose to provide

You may provide an email address and the contents of a support, privacy, legal, feedback, or partnership message. If account features are introduced, account information may include a display name, login identifier, preferences, age-confirmation status, subscription status, and settings. Do not submit government identifiers, financial credentials, medical records, precise location, or other highly sensitive information in character conversations.

4. Character, conversation, and memory information

When chat or character-creation features are active, the service may process prompts, character settings, conversation text, selected relationship preferences, uploaded content, feedback, and memories that you ask the service to retain. This information is used to generate responses, maintain conversation continuity, apply your settings, enforce safety rules, and let you review or reset relevant preferences. Kupid AI characters are fictional software-generated personas, not human recipients of your messages.

5. Information collected automatically

The website and its hosting, security, and delivery providers may receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, referring page, approximate region, language, error events, and security signals. Cookies or similar technologies may be used for essential authentication, abuse prevention, session continuity, preferences, and aggregate performance measurement. Where consent is legally required for non-essential technologies, an appropriate choice should be presented before those technologies are used.

6. Why information is used

Information may be used to deliver requested pages and product features; generate character responses; save settings or user-requested memories; provide support; secure accounts; prevent fraud and abuse; diagnose errors; measure aggregate product performance; comply with law; and communicate material service or policy updates. We do not use submitted content to make decisions about employment, credit, housing, insurance, education, or access to essential services.

7. Legal bases

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, or consent. Consent can be withdrawn for future processing where consent is the basis, although withdrawal does not affect processing already completed lawfully.

8. Service providers and disclosures

Information may be shared with vendors that provide hosting, content delivery, security, authentication, communications, analytics, payment, customer support, and AI processing. Providers should receive only the information needed for their role and be subject to appropriate contractual or confidentiality obligations. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users and the public, investigate abuse, or support a business transaction subject to suitable safeguards.

9. Retention

Information should be kept only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including account operation, requested memory, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Retention periods can differ by data type. Security logs may be kept for a limited operational period, support correspondence may be retained while a request is handled, and account information may remain until deletion is requested or the account is closed, subject to legal exceptions and backup cycles.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, and to withdraw consent or appeal a privacy decision. When memory features are available, relevant controls should allow users to review, remove, or reset saved relationship context. Requests may require reasonable identity verification, and some information may be retained when required for security, legal compliance, or the rights of others.

11. Security and international processing

Kupid AI and its providers should use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live; where required, recognized transfer safeguards should be used.

12. Third-party services

The website may link to third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and Kupid AI does not control how those services process information. Review a third party’s terms before providing information to it.

13. Policy updates

This policy may change as product features, vendors, or legal requirements develop. The updated date will be revised when material changes are published. Where required, additional notice or consent will be provided.

14. Contact Kupid AI

Privacy questions and requests can be sent to privacy@kupid--ai.com. Include enough information to identify the request, but do not email passwords or sensitive conversation content.
